Book & Claim 101 – Enabling Markets for Low-Carbon Liquid Fuels (LCLF) (Wednesday 11 March, 07:30am-08:30am, Main Hall)
This session introduces Book & Claim as a practical market mechanism to accelerate the uptake of LCLF where physical supply chains are constrained. It will provide an overview of Book & Claim fundamentals, including alignment with international frameworks relevant to Scope 3 claims (ISO, GHG Protocol, SBTi), and showcase real-world use cases across the aviation and maritime sectors, illustrating how Book & Claim is already enabling credible decarbonisation across complex value chains. Participants will also be introduced to the RSB Book & Claim Registry, including interoperability considerations, and will learn about plans to expand this solution to other sectors.

Austrade Accelerating Investment Networking Lunch (Wednesday 11th March)
On Day Two of the Summit, Austrade will host a private, invitation-only networking lunch connecting selected domestic and international renewable fuels project developers with Australian leaders and investors.
Attendance is available only for Renewable Fuels Summit ticket holders and is subject to an expression of interest (EOI).
We are seeking EOIs from project developers and investors. If you are developing a project please include your name, company details, a brief overview of your project, technology pathway, location, development stage and financing requirements. If you are an investor please outline your name, company details the types of renewable fuels projects or stages you are interested in supporting.
EOIs should be submitted to: admin@bioenergyaustralia.org.au by 27 February 2026.
Queensland Renewable Fuels Alliance Launch (Thursday 12 March, 7:30am-8:30am)
The formal launch of the Queensland Renewable Fuels Alliance (QRFA), a new state-based industry alliance established under Bioenergy Australia to accelerate renewable fuels investment across Queensland.
Attendees will hear the Alliance Chair outline its purpose, structure and strategic priorities, and connect with Queensland project developers, feedstock suppliers, technology providers and financiers.

ILUC 101 – Global Policy Applications and Local Perspectives (Thursday 12 March, 07:30am-08:15am, Main Hall)
Indirect Land Use Change (ILUC) remains one of the most debated and technically complex aspects of bioenergy and renewable fuels policy. This session provides an introduction to ILUC, outlining the scientific basics of land‑use change, the main approaches used to quantify potential indirect impacts, and how different international frameworks address the topic (including CORSIA, EU RED, and RSB). We will also provide a high‑level overview of current Australian policy discussions and stakeholder perspectives. The purpose of this session is to inform and build a shared understanding of ILUC concepts and global practices. It will also set the scene for the Bioenergy Australia workshop on sustainability certification taking place during the lunch break (invite‑only).

AJBCC’s Clean Energy Transition Advisory Committee: Refueling the Relationship - Supporting growth in Australia Japan renewable fuels business (Friday 13 March)
The Clean Energy Transition Advisory Committee of the AJBCC will be hosting an Australia - Japan Renewable Fuels panel session, in the morning of 13 March, the day after Renewable Fuels Summit.
The panel will include experts from both Federal and State Government, who will provide a short presentation on renewable fuels certification and trading schemes, and how these can support the growth of renewable fuels production and supply. As well as touching on new incentive schemes, such as the recently revised NSW Renewable Fuels Scheme. Industry experts will also give their views on the opportunity and challenges facing Australia and Japan in jointly developing this emerging renewables sector.
